Megan is a trauma-specialist that uses her modalities and experiences to help heal the trauma in others: those experiencing PTSD/Complex PTSD symptoms, those making connections between their emotions and physical ailments, and those with chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and addiction.
She focuses on calming the nervous system so that the body can initiate the natural healing processes. When we get stuck in the "ON" position, our body believes it's in survival mode and needs to fight off suspected dangers that are all around. In that process, it shuts down the healing response in order to conserve energy.

Megan meets clients exactly where they are on any given day. She works on the person in front of her, keeping the client’s original goals in mind, and making sure they leave feeling nurtured and supported. She blends her experience with physical movement, meditation, mindfulness, and energetic safety to provide clients exactly what they need.
I grew up not feeling safe in my body. I felt like a prisoner trapped in a body that hated me. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, depression, generalized anxiety and panic attacks at 15. Instead of being offered coping skills and wellness tools, I was given handfuls of prescriptions and sent on my way. This developed into a 15 year addiction that almost killed me.
In recovery, I started learning about symptoms of trauma and a light bulb clicked. I understood the underlying cause for all of my physical and mental suffering, and I also understood that I could recover instead of just managing the symptoms. I have trained in multiple modalities that have assisted me on my own healing journey so I can offer these valuable tools to others in similar situations.

Daily ritual helps me to stay grounded and connected to myself. I have a regular practice of meditation, movement, journaling, time spent outside in nature, and studying. I believe it's important to have flexibility in our practices and routines and my practice changes with my moods, the seasons, and external factors that might be affecting me.
